TSGE Regional Chapter Initiative
Overview
To expand engagement, increase membership, and strengthen local networks, the Texas Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy (TSGE) will launch a Regional Chapter Initiative Dividing Texas into six regions:

Regional Ambassador Role
Appointment & Term
- Ambassadors are appointed for a 2-year term
- Eligible candidates must be active TSGE members in good standing
Responsibilities
- Membership Growth & Engagement:
- Proactively recruit new members and engage existing members in their region
- Goal to obtain/collect contact information (email/phone) for all GIs in their region
- Reporting Structure:
- Report directly to the Membership Committee Chair
- Attend all Membership Committee meetings.
- Event Planning & Execution:
- Host or organize two regional events per year, sponsored by TSGE, and aligned with society's mission.
- Events may include:
- Gut Club
- Invited faculty speaker lectures
- Journal clubs
- Networking socials or happy hours
- All event proposals must be approved by the Membership Committee Chair.
- Provide Annual Metrics on Events Planned
- Description of events thrown
- Number of (new/repeat) attendees per event
- Attendee Feedback scores
