Fellow of TSGE - Designation of Honor

The Fellow of TSGE is a designation of honor awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions to TSGE and the field of gastroenterology and endoscopy.

Requirements for Fellowship:

∙Active Member (with dues paid on time) for at least five(5) years beyond completion of training. 

∙Active Member must be board certified in the state of Texas in adult or pediatric gastroenterology.

∙Active member must have significant contributions to the field of gastroenterology, hepatology, nutrition, or gastrointestinal endoscopy as evidenced by: 
  • Scientific contributions to the field
  • Significant contributions to education on the international, national, state, or regional level
  • Contributions to leadership at an institutional, local, regional, or national/international level.
  • Significant service to TSGE (minimum requirement two(2) years of successful service on one committee or the board) or attend at least three(3) in the last five(5) years of TSGE Annual Meetings. 

∙ Two references from TSGE Board Members 

∙ Current Curriculum Vitae must be included with application 

∙ The FTSGE designation requires individuals to maintain their TSGE membership in good standing. Should membership lapse for any reason, the individual will lose their FTSGE designation.
