Texas Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy is a statewide professional association for physicians to improve the knowledge, skills, and standard of care in the field of gastroenterology, hepatology, and gastrointestinal endoscopy. The Academic Task Force of TSGE promotes professional development of fellows and faculty members and enhances exchanges between academic programs and the GI community at large in education and practice development.
The Texas Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy (TSGE) is now offering a $10,000 grant to fund research in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endoscopy. This will mark the first year of the TSGE grant.
The purpose of the grant is aimed at improving and supporting research, education, disease awareness and prevention as well as patient supported activities. We hope the approved grant will advance the TSGE mission and benefit patients with GI and liver diseases in Texas.
The grant is open to all junior gastroenterology and hepatology faculty members in Texas. Eligible applicants must either be a current member of TSGE or will join upon submitting their grant application.
Applications will be reviewed by the TSGE Grants committee. The grant winner will be announced during the September 2024 TSGE Annual Conference.
