GENERAL

When and where is the 2026 TSGE Annual Conference?
The 2026 TSGE Annual Conference will take place starting Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20 at the Austin Marriott Downtown in Austin, TX. 

  

  

Does TSGE offer single day registration for the conference?
At this time, TSGE does NOT offer single day registration. You can only register for the full conference. 

  

  

What will be provided at the Annual Conference?
The following will be available at the 2026 TSGE Annual Conference:
  • Basic Wireless Internet
  • Self-Parking
  • A copy of the agenda, and information about the conference
  • The conference meeting app

  

  

Will presentations be available on-site?
Yes, speaker permissioned presentations will be available on-site on the Annual Conference meeting app 

  

  

What is the suggested dress code for attending the conference?
Smart casual / business casual. We want you to be comfortable for learning and networking. Conference rooms tend to be cold, so we strongly suggest you have a sweater on hand. 

  

  

 

REGISTRATION

How do I register for the Fellows Hands-On Workshop?
The Hands-on Workshop will appear as an option you can select when registering for the conference. SPACE IS LIMITED! Once all spots are taken, TSGE will begin a waitlist for the workshop. 

  

  

When is the deadline to claim CME for the Annual Conference? 
The deadline to complete your Speaker Evaluation and claim your CME credits will be Monday, September 28, 2026.

 

   

What is the cancellation policy?
TSGE must receive notice of cancellation for refund postmarked no later than September 13, 2026. A $25 processing fee will be deducted from the registration fee paid to cover processing charges. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of cancellation. You can contact us here to cancel your registration. 

  

  

Is there an option to attend the Annual Conference virtually?
At this time, TSGE does not offer a virtual option for the Annual Conference

  

  

I haven't received my confirmation email or any emails from TSGE - what do I do?
Please log-in to your TSGE profile and confirm your profile and account are up to date. Once you have completed this step, please contact the TSGE office and we will resend your confirmation email. 

  

  

 

PROGRAMMING

How do I obtain my CME's for the Annual Conference?
You will receive an email on Monday, September 21 with your speaker evaluation. Complete this speaker evaluation to obtain your CME's. 

  

  

How many CME's, CNE's, and Ethics are offered at the Annual Conference? 
Continuing Medical Education
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Texas Medical Association (TMA) and the Texas Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. The Texas Medical Association is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Texas Medical Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 11.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. 

Continuing Nursing EducationThis activity has been submitted to Montana Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. Montana Nurses Association is accredited with distinction as an approver of continuing nurses education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Please note, there will be no contact hours awarded for Friday. 

This activity has been submitted for pharmacotherapeutic hours. 

Ethics
The presentation on September 20th fulfills 1 hour of ethics and/or professional responsibility required to Texas licensure. 

  

  

What is the deadline for claiming CME's? 
The deadline to complete your Speaker Evaluation and claim your CME credits will be Monday, September 28, 2026.

 

   

 

RESIDENTS & FELLOWS

What do I need to bring for the GI Fellows Career Fair?
Please bring multiple printed copies of your polished CV to the GI Fellows Career Fair. 

  

  

How do I register for the Fellows Hands-On Workshop?

What is the housing stipend for Residents & Fellows at the Annual Conference? 
$300 - One Day Attendance
$450 - Two Day Attendance 
$600 - Three Day Attendance (must attend the Fellows Symposium)
To receive your stipend you MUST check in at the registration desk each day you attend the conference. NO EXCEPTIONS. Stipends will be mailed to you post-conference in 4-6 weeks.
